18.3 The Performance Description of Outre Productions
18.3.1 Good Level Liquidity
To ensure the high stability, uniformity and good atomization of sprayed powder, and that epoxy powder could be uniformly coated on the surface of the steel pipes, Outre purchased professional testing equipment, fluidized instrument, and the level liquidity indicators are controlled in production process, to ensure that the epoxy powder evenly coated in onsite construction.
18.3.2 Good Powder Utilization
Size distribution:Most of ultrafine powder and coarse powder in the products have been removed after our technical improving and reformation. Thus our products have excellent size distribution and greatly improving the powder utilization.
18.3.3 Good storage stability
By using the resins which have high glass transition temperature and adding Tiyanium p25 to the products, the heat resistance of epoxy powder storage stability is greatly improved.
18.3.4 Good Coating Stability
Outre has set up the "products similarity" testing indicator in the finished products detection. We carry out the "products similarity" tests for each reactor to make sure that the similarity between each reactor of products is 99.5% at least. Thus ensuring the coating operation has a good stability. The products similarity detection records are as follows:
18.3.5 Good Construction Performance
We add the special additives in the production process, and we bought “Dry Powder Flow Meter”. Fluidization state in the production of finished products is controlled strictly, to ensure good powder liquidity. This guaranteed fine spraying uniformity in onsite constructions. In addition, reaction promoters are added in the production process, which greatly improves the reaction activity and reduces the usage temperature of the products, so as to expand the temperature range of the products greatly.
19.1.2 Raw materials testing methods
A. Similarity testing of raw materials
1. Determination significance of the similarity of raw materials: the quality and stability of the powder product depends entirely on the similarity of the raw materials if the formulation and production process is completely fixed.
2.Experiment instruments:FTIR Infrared Spectrometer
3. Experimental principle
When samples was irradiated by infrared light with continuous change frequency, the molecules absorb certain frequency radiation, and the vibration or rotation causes the net change of dipole moment, resulting the molecular vibrational and rotational level from the ground state to the excited state transition, so that the transmitted light intensity corresponding to the absorption region was weaken. The infrared spectrum curve could be got once the percentage of infrared light transmittance and wavelength is recorded, and it can be qualitative, quantitative and structural analysed.
Infrared quantitative analysis not only can be used for quantitative analysis of single component but also can carry quantitative analysis on multi-component samples. It is needn’t to separate infrared quantitative analysis, and FTIR analysis is not limited by the sample state. Gas, solid and liquid all can be analyzed.
Outre's raw materials and filler are analysed by infrared when the raw materials come into factory and compare with each batch. According to the scanned figure, we can characterize the similarities of raw materials and the fillers, so to ensure the high quality stability of final products.
B. Determination of the glass transition temperature (Tg0) of the resin and curing agent
1. Determination of significance of Tg0
The glass transition temperature (Tg0) of the resin and curing agent directly affect the glass transition temperature of powder products(Tg1),and then determines the storage stability of the powder product, so it is very important to determine and control Tg0.
2. Experiment instruments:DSC Differential Scanning Calorimetry
3. Experimental principle
Its basic principle is to use the external heating mode that makes the block heated evenly. Transfer heat to sample pan and reference pan through two ways, namely, air and thermal gasket made by constantan. The temperature of sample pan is detected by high sensitivity thermocouple composed of nichrome wire and nickel aluminum wire, and the temperature of reference pan is detected by thermocouple composed of nichrome wire and Constantan.

In addition to the above indicators, Outre controls other indicators of the raw materials strictly, such as hydrochloric acid- acetone solution determination of epoxy value, global determination softening point, and organic chlorine, inorganic chlorine, volatile, magnetic material, colour and lustre, sieve residue, acetone dissolve slide, melting range, etc.

19.5 OUTRE finished product quality control
Outre inspects manufactured products strictly in accordance with the requirement of the project standards. Outre has a heavy-duty anti-corrosion testing center, and our center is equipped with a full set of anti-corrosion powder detection laboratory instruments. In order to ensure the product quality of heavy-duty coatings we signed a long-term technical cooperation agreement with Comprehensive Test Center of China Petroleum Pipeline Company, so as to provide reliable quality assurance for the product into the market.
19.5.1 Comprehensive testing of the finished products
In the production process, we test the anti-corrosion performance of the powder and coating quality indicators, including the particle size distribution(GB/T6554), density(GB/T4472), volatiles(GB/T6554), gel time(GB/T6554), curing time(GB/T23257-2009), adhesion(GB/T23257-2009), cathode stripping(GB/T23257-2009), low temperature bending(GB/T23257-2009), thermal characteristics(GB/T23257-2009), freeze-thaw cycle, the magnetic content(GB/T4472), volume resistivity (GB/T23257-2009), similarity and so on. Guarantee the materials through the relevant standards and corresponding performance test required by technical specification of the project before use,. And provide gel time curve and curing time curve for preserving pant products, which can be used as the theoretical basis of the on-site debugging process.
After a period of training and improvement in process control, quality inspectors not only make the necessary testing for the general performance of the powder such as gel time, screening, flexibility, but also supervise the raw material weighing until the packaged sealing of the finished products. We control every aspect strictly to ensure the factory pass rate of 100%.

19.5.2 Detection introduction to detailed indicators
Currently, Outre has advanced testing instruments such as differential scanning calorimetry , infrared spectroscopy , laser particle size distribution analyzer , atomic absorption spectrometer , impedance meter, magnetic material analyzer and so on,Providing a reliable guarantee for the control of product quality .
1. Finished products similarity detection :Infrared spectrometer can be used for qualitative and quantitative analysis of materials . Each kettle products sampling are analysed by the infrared spectroscopy , and compare infrared similarity of the products of different kettle, so as to we can control the product quality stability strictly.
2. Thermal characteristics indicator detection of ΔH 、Tg2、 △Tg2 and so on
Outre has imported advanced the DSC(Differential scanning calorimetry) detection instrument , and a full range of thermal characteristics analysis is carried on powder products : as heat release ΔH can ensure that the resin content in the powder , Tg1 can provide a reference for the storage stability of the powder , Tg2 can monitor the heat resistance of the coating after made into the film , but also we can measure Tg3 and Tg4 , so as to get ΔTg, measuring cured percentage .
3. Product particle size distribution tests : Outre has an advanced laser particle size distribution analyzer which can effectively monitor the production process of the powder , the product of good particle size distribution plays an extremely important role in the latter part of the powder utilization.
4. Pigments and fillers purity test: Outre has imported an atomic absorption spectrometer that can test the content of metal elements in the pigments and fillers , which can analyze the purity of the pigments and fillers.
