Characteristics of Monel 400 Sheet:
1. Excellent resistance to brackish water, stress corrosion cracking in freshwaters.
2. Intense resistance to de-aerated hydrochloric, hydrofluoric and sulfuric acids
3. Superior resistance to neutral and alkaline salt and chloride induced stress corrosion cracking
4 Tremendous resistance to alkalis and seawater and steam at the elevated temperatures
Manufacture's Objective Comments to Monel 400 Sheet/Plate/Strip:
The Monel 400 sheet offers significant resistance to the extensive range of corrosive conditions as mentioned above but it is not suitable to use in the oxidizing conditions like nitric acid and nitrous acid. It is cheap and has good mechanical character.
Applications of Monel 400 sheet:
1.Chemical and hydrocarbon treatment device
2.Gasoline and freshwater tanks
3.Crude petroleum stills and marine operations
4.De-aerating heaters
5.Boiler feed water heaters and other heat exchangers
