Cast iron grinding balls, three series (High/Middle/Low chrome cast iron grinding balls) can be provided in standard sizes.Our company own a foundry with annual prodcution 12000 metric tons, the cast iron balls had been exported to Indonesia, Mogolia, South Africa, South Korea, Japan, Philippines, Europe and South America etc.
1.Standard ball sizes are as follows: (Nominal Size) 25mm-----130mm; (0.984 inch----5 inch)
2. Low Chrome cast iron grinding balls
Grinding balls chemical Elements (%): C:2.2~3.0 Mn: 0.50-1.50; Cr: 1.5-3.0; Si: 1.2Max; P: 0.08 Max, S:0.06 Max;
3. Middle chrome cast iron grinding balls
Grinding balls chemical Elements (%):C:2.1~3.20 Mn: 0.50-1.50; Cr: 5.0-10.0; Si: 1.2 Max; P: 0.08 Max,S:0.06Max;
4. High chrome cast iron grinding balls
(Chrom content could be done with customer‘s requirement)
Grinding balls chemical Elements (%):C:2.20~3.20 Mn: 0.50-2.50; Cr: 11-14; Si: 1.0 Max ; P: 0.08 Max, S:0.06 Max;
5.Breakage rate of ball: 1.0% Max ;
6.Dropping test: 10000 times minimum with 5 meter dropping test machine.
Impact fatigue life test: Ak.=4 J/CM2 Minimum
7.Packing: By bulk bags (300kg-1000kg/bag), or by steel drums (850kgs-900kgs/drum)
