It increases the HDL value (the good cholesterol) and lowers the LDL value (the bad cholesterol) in the same way.

An effective dosage of Miotolan seems to begin in the range of 10-20 mg daily for men, taken for no longer than 6 or 8 weeks. At this level it seems to impart a measurable musclebuilding effect, which is usually accompanied by fat loss.

Doses of 30 mg per day or more considerably increase the anabolic potential of the drug, but at the expense of greater hepatotoxicity (from Llewellyn). Anecdotally, some uses have reported good results from much higher dosages, from 100mg to 300mg daily (see reference thread).For women, an effective dose is 2-5mg per day with 4-6 week cycles.
