All general-purpose remote I / O scanner ports are built into all PLC-5 controllers. Some PLC-5 controllers have built-in local expansion I / O scan ports. Some PLC-5 controllers have built-in ControlNet ports. When you need to add a DeviceNet I / O scanner port to your system, you must add a DeviceNet scanner module (1771-SDN).
