titanium  is a new type  of metal ,the performance  of titanium is related to the content of carbon ,nitrogen ,hydrogen  and oxgyen .The pure titanium iodide impurity content  less than  0.1%,but its  low strength ,high performance plastic .99.5%pure titianium is :the density of (ρ) is4.5g/cm3,  the melting point  of 172silicon titanium alloy wear-resisting flooring 5℃，coefficient of heat conductivity  is 15.24w/(m.k),tensile strength b is 539mpa ,elongation is 25%,section shrinkage of PSI is 25%,elastic modulus e is 1.078*105Mpa ,hardness hb195.

Titanium Characterisitic :high intensity ,high thermal strength ,good corrosion resistance ,good low temperature performance ,chemcial active Titanium alloy density is about 4.5g/cm3,only 60%of steel ,the strength of pure titanium was close to ordinary steel strength ,high strength titnaium alloy than  many alloy structual steel  strength .Therefore titanium alloy strength (strnegth/density)is much larger than other metal structure materials,see table ,can be produced the unit  has high strength  ,good rigidity ,light quality zero components.The engine components,the plane frame ,skin ,fasteners and landing gaer and so   the use of titanium alloy.
