SCR Catalytic Converter Muffler is mainly used in diesel engine exhaust system . SCR means selective catalytic reduction. Its principle is that NO and NO2 reduced to N2 under reducing agent NH3 and 290-400 ºC. Almost no NH3 oxidation reaction occur. Our patented SCR catalytic muffler successfully assembled Beijing Public Transport System in 2008 . The results showed that diesel engine using SCR technology than using EGR plus particulate trap technology can save about 5% fuel consumption. Select SCR technology can achieve Euro IV~Euro V standard and with high reliability, good stability, low fuel consumption , high power density, long oil change intervals ,low cooling requirements and so on.
When upgrade to Euro V standards , SCR technology is easier applied in the market than EGR technology . In practical application, we often use completed SCR catalytic converter muffler which not only to reduce NOx, but also reduce the noise from diesel engine.
