The whole process of potato starch production process can be divided into the following section:
Section 1. Cleaning and washing: New harvest potatoes from the ground should first dry and sieve to remove the impurities as much as possible for potato starch production process. Section 3.Screening: The starch slurry contains protein, fiber, cell sap and other impurities. Therefore it is necessary to separate these from starch to produce high quality starch. In this process of potato starch production process, the centrifuge sieve is the mainly used potato starch manufacturing machine. The purpose of centrifuge sieve is to separating the fiber from the starch slurry. This machine has two important features, the stainless steel structure and the titanium plate material for the screen mesh. Compared with other material, the titanium plate allows thinner screen mesh pore which result in better separation effect.

Section 4. Desanding: Desander is mainly used for remove sand content from starch slurry for potato starch production process. Due to sand in potato starch slurry will influence the taste of the final starch, the desanding is a necessary procedure. According to the principle of specific gravity separation, desander can effectively separete the sand from starch.

Section 5. Concentration and refining: Hydrocyclone station is a high efficient potato starch machine mainly which is mainly used for remove protein, fine fiber, cell sap out of slurry for potato starch production process. Section 6. Dehydration: Starch slurry stays in starch jar after refining for potato starch production process, and then is sent to vacuum filter for dehydrating. The wet starch water content after dehydration is 38-40%.

Section 7.Starch drying: After dewatering, the water content in starch is still high so it need the drying process. The potato starch processing machine used in this process for potato starch production process is flash dryer. The flash dryer adopts the negative pressure drying system which can effectively reduces the loss of the starch and meanwhile purifies the working environment. The high speed hot air dry the starch just in 2-3 seconds which has an significant energy saving effect.
