The process of processing waste cables into copper and plastic is easy to understand. Through shredding, crushing and separation, copper and plastic can be separated and recycled.
1, Shredding
Waste cables can be shredded to small pieces.
2, Crushing
The small pieces will be crushed into smaller by crusher.
3, Air separation
The crushed pieces will be conveyed through a conveyor belt to the air separator. Air separator can separate pure copper from plastic through the different gravities of them. There is also a vibrating table which is used for separating copper and brass.
4. Electrostatic separation
The above configuration of copper wire recycling machine is used for processing household wires or miscellaneous wires. The separation rate can reach 97-98%. If you want to get higher separation, the machine can be equipped with electrostatic separator. With the use of electrostatic separator, the separation rate can reach to 99.9%.
When processing different kinds of cables and wires, the configuration
and process will be a little different. For example, if processing thick
cables and wires, or waste cables and wires contain plugs, copper wire
recycling machine should be equipped with a shredder and magnetic
separator, so the process is shredding, crushing, air separation,
magnetic separation and electrostatic separation.
