Lido-caine is a local ane-sthetic, also known as Cero-caine, which blocks nerve excitation and conduction by inhibiting sodium ion channels in nerve membranes. Its fat solubility, protein binding rate were higher than procaine, strong penetrating ability, quick action, long action time, effect intensity is 4 times of procaine. Lidocaine is a histamine H1 receptor reverse agonist with IC50>32 μM.
