Description of Particleboard Production Line
1. Particle preparation section:
Raw material is transported via a belt conveyor to the chipperfor chipping. The chips are transported by a screw conveyor and scraper conveyor to the chip silo for storage. Chips from the chip silo are transported by the screw conveyor to the flaker for flaking. And the wood particles are transported by means of a scraper conveyor to the wet particles silo for storage.
2. Drying and sifting section:
Wet particles of the silo are transported via the discharging screw conveyor and scraper conveyor to the pass-type particle dryer (or rotary dryer) for drying. Qualified dry particles are sent via the screw conveyor to the classifying screen. Qualified fine (surface) particles are transported by the surface furnish pneumatic conveying system to the dry surface particles silo, and qualified core particles are transported by the core furnish pneumatic conveying system to the dry core particles silo, while the unqualified coarse particles are sent to the screen ring mill to be broken into qualified surface particles which are transported by the surface furnish pneumatic conveying system to the surface particles silo.
3.Glue mixing and blending section:
This manufacturing process uses a solution of separate blending and conveyance of core and surface particlesCore and surface glues and core andsurface particles are dosed separately by devices and conveyed to two ring glue blenders. After thorough blending and uniform mixing in the ring glue blenders, particles and liquid glue are sent via their conveyers to the surface and core layer forming systems of the mat former.
4.Forming Section
A.Mat forming section of single-opening line:
Glued surface and core particles are spread separately by classification. The formed mat strip on the net-belt conveyor is crosscut by a moving mat crosscut saw. Then the mat is sent into the single-opening hotpress for hotpressing.
B.Mat forming section of multi-opening line:
Glued surface and core particles are spread separately by classification. The formed mat strip is transported to the continuous pre-press for compression and is then crosscut by a moving mat crosscut saw. The mats are loaded into the multi-deck loader via a speedup conveyor, storage conveyor and loader conveyor. The loader loads all mats at once into the multi-opening frame-type hotpress for hotpressing.
C.Mat forming section of single-opening line:
The raw board from the single-opening hotpress is sent by the infeed roller table to the board cooler for cooling. The cooled raw board is sawn into dimension boards (4×8, 5×8 and6×8 ft) by the lengthwise trimming saw and reciprocating-blade trimming sawThen the boards are stacked by their resp-ective stackers and sent into the semi-fin-ished product warehouse.
D. Mat forming section of multi-opening line:
After the unloader, unloader conveyor and infeed roller table, the raw hotpressed boards from the multi-opening hotpress are sent into the board cooler for cooling. The cooled raw boards are trimmed lengthwise and crosswise and then sent into the stacker for stacking, and the stacks are sent into the semi-finished product warehouse.
