I.Brief introduction of reverse osmosis technology
Reverse osmosis equipment is short for RO, which the membrane separation technology which has being developed since 1950s, the working principle is that the raw water permeate into reverse osmosis membrane with the action of high pressure, the solvent spreads from high density to the low density, then we can get the purposes of separation, purification, concentration, because its osmosis direction is contrast to the natural osmosis, we call it reverse osmosis. Reverse osmosis can remove the bacteria, viruses, colloids, organic substances and over 98% dissolved salts in the water. This kind of method has many features, such as low operation cost, simple operation, high automation, stable output water quality, compared with other traditional water treatment methods, which has the outstanding superiority, it can be widely used in many related industries of water treatment.
II. Technology process
Raw water(underground water or tap water)→raw water booster→quartz sand filter→active carbon filter→precision filter→high pressure pump→reverse osmosis host machine→pure water tank→finished water
III. Advantages:
1). With the condition of normal temperature, reverse osmosis has the no phase physical method to purify and desalinize salt water. At present, the desalinization rate of ultrathin compound membrane components can reach over 99.9%, meanwhile, which can remove the colloids, organic substances, viruses and so on in the water;
2). The impetus of water treatment is depend on the pressure of water, the energy consumption is very low, compared with other water treatment methods;
3). Reverse osmosis can produce water continuously, the system is simple, the operation is convenient, the output water quality is stable;
4). No chemical waste liquid, acid-base discharge, no neutralization treatment process of waste acid-base, no environmental pollution;
5). The automation of reverse osmosis device is very high, the workload of maintaining operation and equipment is very little;
6). The working area of equipment is small;
7). The silica removal efficiency is so good, the removal rate can reach 99.5%;
8). It can remove the colloid matters such as organic matters, the removal rate is 99.5%;
9). Reverse osmosis water treatment system can produce water continuously, there is no stop to regenerate when it operates;
10). It is not only suitable for treatment of brackish water and sea water, but also adapted to the treatment of fresh water with low salt content.
