1Application of dryer
Dryer is a set of equipment to process mass materials. Due to reliable performance, wide adaptability range, low consumption, high handling capacity, dryer is widely used in construction, metallurgy, food, chemical, coal, pharmaceutical and mining industry. Dryer is generally applicable for granular materials, materials of high moisture, viscous and pasty materials by mixed with other materials. Dryer has the advantages of high capacity, wide application range, small flow resistance, convenient operation.
2Structure of dryer
Dryer is mainly composed of cylinder, front ring, back ring, gear, supporting roller, dragging roller, discharging device, lifting board, reducer, motor, hot air channel, loading chute, furnace. We can also design coal gas producer, combustion chamber, bucket elevator, belt conveyer, constant feeder, cyclone dust catcher, draft fan.
3Principle of dryer
Wet materials are sent into hopper by belt conveyor or bucket elevator, then to the drum by feeder. The gradient of loading chute must be bigger than the cylinder to make the materials move smoothly. The cylinder is installed at an angle of about 3-5.Materials move from upper end to lower end, while heating medium moves from the opposite direction or the same. During this process, moisture inside the materials gets vaporized. The waste gas is released by the draft fan at the end of the drum. Some lifting boards are fixed on the inner wall of the cylinder. They elevate and scatter the materials repeatedly to accelerate the efficiency of drying. At last, the hot air is released into atmosphere through dust catcher.
