Softener can be called sodium ion exchanger, and exchangers can be divided into sodium ion exchanger, anion and cation bed, mixed bed etc. The ion exchanger housing is usually made of PVC, PVC-FRP, PMMA, PMMA-FRP, JR, stainless lined with rubber and so on. Mainly used in the pretreatment of boiler, thermal power station, chemical engineering, light industry, textile, medicines, biology, electronics, atomic energy and pure water. The hard water should be softened, deionized water should be produced in the industrial production. It also can be used in decoloration and purification of food and drugs, the recycle of valuable metals and chemical raw materials, electroplating waste water treatment and so on.

The softening of potable water with high hardness, softening of domestic hot water & raw water, pretreatment of domestic potable water unit, water for boiler and the makeup water softening of heat exchanger, softening treatment of air-conditioning circulating cooling water etc.
