γ-Oryzanol is a white crystalloid powder extracted and refined from rice bran oil. The basis is 24-methylene cycloartenol ferulic acid esterase, which has an effect on cure of neurotic disorder, periodic neuropathy, sequelae of cerebral concussion, menopause syndrome, premenstrual tension syndrome, vascular headache, gastroenterological vascular neurosis, etc. It is also an antioxidant in food and anti-ultraviolet in cosmetic.
