Nickel Ore Processing

Copper-nickel sulfide ore beneficiation methods, the most important is the flotation, magnetic and gravity separation process are usually secondary dressing method. Flotation copper sulfide nickel ore, often used in the flotation of copper sulphide minerals collector and frother. A basic principle for determining the flotation process, would prefer to make the copper into the nickel concentrate, as much as possible to avoid nickel into copper concentrate. Copper-nickel ore flotation process has the following four basic processes.
Direct flotation or flotation process: This process can be used when the the ore copper than nickel content is much higher, election copper into separate concentrates. The advantage of this process is the low nickel containing the copper concentrate can be directly obtained.
(1)Mixed flotation process: for sorting copper below the nickel ore,the mixed concentrate directly resulting copper-nickel smelting of high nickel matte.
(2)Mixed - preferred flotation processes: bulk flotation of copper-nickel ore, copper concentrate containing low nickel and copper nickel concentrate is elected separately from the mixed concentrate.
(3) Mixed - flotation and bulk flotation tailings recycling part of the nickel : When various nickel ore minerals flotability bulk flotation of copper-nickel from its tailingsfurther recovery flotability nickel-containing minerals.
