Their design makes tapered roller bearings particularly suitable for the accommodation of combined (radial and axial) loads. The axial load carrying capacity of the bearings is largely determined by the contact angle α ; the larger α, the higher the axial load carrying capacity . Tapered roller bearings are generally separable, i.e. the cone, consisting of the inner ring with roller and cage assembly, can be mounted separately from the cup (outer ring).

Two Rows:Be consist of outer ring with two races and two subassemblies which are consist of rollers and cages. The main purpose is applicable of gearboxes, hoisting equipment, rolling mills and machines used in the mining industry, e.g. tunnelling machines.
Four-row : It has two configurations which are TQO and TQI. TQO is consist of two rows inner rings subassemblies which are consist of rollers and cages and one inner ring ,one outer spacer,one outer ring with two single races ,two outer rings with single race.
TQI is consist of two rings with double races, one spacers, Two inner rings which is one subassemblie with roller and cages. One single inner ring which is two assemblies with rollers and cages.
Tilt angle is allowed.
Tapered Roller Bearing does not allow axis relative shell holes are inclined, the largest of its tilt angle can not be exceed 2’.
