Application
By means of continuous casting & rolling, this line works to produce oil-free conductive aluminum alloy rod for Al-Ti-B , in a diameter Ø9.5mm or Ø12mm.
2. Brief Process Flow
2.1. Melting furnace→ holding furnace→ 4-wheel continuous casting machine → front drive unit → roller shears→ continuous rolling mill → cooling & lubricating device for aluminum rod → twin-basket continuous coiler→ oil-free aluminum rod
2.2. Molten aluminum or prepared aluminum melt flows from the holding furnace into the 4-wheel casting machine via the launder and is cast into trapzoid-shaped bar in a cross-sectional area of 1500mm2. Cut off the bar that does not meet the requirement for rolling with the roller shears, press the front end and feed it into the rolling mill, the rod is coiled into the basket with the coiler.
3. Main Components
This production line is composed of Melting furnace (5t/h), Twin-chamber holding furnace (2×8t) , 4-wheel casting machine, front drive unit, roller shears, supporting device for cast bar movement, continuous rolling mill, lubrication oil system for rolling mill, emulsion circulation system for rolling mill, cooling & lubricating system for aluminum rod, two-position coiler, and electrical control system and so on.
