For many as-built and topographic surveys, laser scanners have already proven to significantly reduce field labor compared to traditional methods. With ScanStation 2’s field labor is as little as one-fifth of that of traditional methods for many projects. Pulsed or “time-of-flight” scanners are often considered highly versatile thanks to their excellent distance capabilities.
