White fused alumina, with code “WA”, with Al2O3 more than 99%, is one of the most popular alumina abrasives. White fused aluminum oxide is electrically fused in arc furnace with alumina powder as main raw material. As a kind of alumina grinding media, it is widely used in polishing, lapping and blasting.
Application:
1.White fused alumina powder is used for making abrasive tools
2.White fused aluminum oxide grit could also used as refractory materials
3.White fused aluminum oxide could be used as grinding, lapping, polishing and blasting media
It is characterized by a higher hardness and a slightly lower toughness, when compared to Brown aluminum oxide. It also has the characteristics of ; high purity, self-sharpening, better cutting,lower heat emission, higher efficiency, acid and alkaline resistance and a good thermal stability.
