Brief Characterics:
PLA (Polylactic acid) is thermoplastic aliphatic polyester made of renewable resources like corn or starch.
Its extrusion-temperature is much lower than ABS, and most often doesnt require a heated bed.
It has the following features:
- No block nozzle, good stick hot bed, a smooth PLA used
- Can be processed at 185 degrees
- Low shrinkage, thermoforming dimensional stability
- Good toughness high strength, high stiffness ;
- Accurate diameter: 1.75/3.0mm, variations + /-0.03mm, roundness +/-0.02mm
Advantage:
(1) Extended durability, resistance and hardness.
(2) Bright color,smooth,no bubble .
(3) Lower melting point and better smell than ABS, flow rapidly, not blocking the nozzle.
(4) PLA Filament has small shrinkage even when printing big size model.
(5) High quality: absolutely round shape, accurate diameter, no bubble, high tenacity and stable melting point.
