High Silicon Cast Iron Anode
CORRTECH Silicon Iron Anodes are made by chill casting in metal mould. The anodes have more high density, more compact crystal structure and low consumption rate, thus have longer life.
We produce this kind of anodes according to ASTM A518-86(grade 3) standard. They are made by Chill Cast technology, and have much higher performance and preferable quality than normal sand mould casting. We can provide all kinds of rod anodes and tubular anodes.
The alloy contains chromium which is better suited to situations where chlorine or other aggressive agents may be generated by electrolysis (e.g. in seawater or in deep well ground beds).

High Silicon Cast Iron Tubular Anode
Compare with the solid rod anode, tubular anodes can:
1. Minimize the resistance of anodes to electrolytes.
2. Increase the surface to weight ratio thus can reduce current density and distribute the produced gases over larger areas. It is very important for deep layer installations.
3. Improve current distribution, relaxes end electric discharge, while the cable joint is located in the center of the tubular.

Canistered Cast Iron Anode
Canistered Cast Iron Anode consists of high silicon cast iron anode, coke, vent-pipe and outer steel pipe. The anode, Ф50mm×1500 or Ф75mm× 1500 mm, is fixed in the center of steel pipe, annulus filled and tamped with carbonous backfill.
It has the advantage of low consumption and grounding resistance, saves a lot of time of installing the anode in the field and ensures the quality of the installation. In sea water or fresh water, we suggest using high silicon cast iron alloy containing of chromium or chromium molybdenum to resist the corrosion of chlorine.
