1Programmable Squelch Level
Squelch reduces background noise and improves sound quality Squelch level adjustable by PC software makes the radio can be widely used in various environments.
CTCSS/DCS
38 groups of standard CTCSS and 83 groups DCS are available (PC programmable). Built-in CTCSS/DCS Encoder/Decoder can prevent co-channel interference and unwanted conversations on the same frequency and ensure smooth communication.
Auto Power-saving
Auto power saving can prolong the talking time and stand-by time 10 seconds after no signals or operation, the auto power-saving is activated to minimize power consumption. It resumes to normal mode while receiving signals or being operated.
Channel Annunciation
Channel annunciation offers convenience to users in special applications, such as working in the darkness. The annunciation could be programmed in different languages.
Emergency Alarm
Press on the orange emergency button on top of radio could bring loud alarm to notify the other user and warn and stop people with malice.
Optional Li-poly battery with 1600mAh in capacity
16 Channels
Up to 16 channels could be programmed for conversation, providing flexible channel assignments among different user groups.
Multiple and Easy Scan
Switch to the last scan channel will start the scan on channels in scan list automatically. The scan type and revert channel could be modified by programming software.
Low Battery Alert
When the battery power is low, the LED indicator flashes red, reminding user to recharge or replace the battery.
Time-out Timer (TOT)
When TOT is on and the transmission exceeds the preset time limit, the radio will stop after warning tone. TOT can prevent the radio from any potential damage caused by overlong transmission.
Busy Channel Lockout (BCLO)
BCLO is used to prevent the interference with the on-going conversation. If BCLO is on, the radio will be remaining in receiving status even with PTT pressed to avoid interfering with others on conversation.
Monitor
Monitoring on current channel could be activated by pressing the MONI key. This function is used to receive weak signal.
PC Programmable
With the programming cable, the parameters on radio could be configured by programming software
Wired Clone
All settings on radio could be cloned by clone cable from host radio to slave radio in wired clone mode. It could be used for batch configure among group for greater efficiency
