Insoluble Sulfur is insoluble in carbon disulfide, its scientific name is called Poly-Sulfur, IS is called for short. It is divided into oiled filled and non-oiled filled products as it contains different amount of oil-filled ingredients. With the development of radial tire industry, our company developed OT series products with high thermal stability and high dispersity.
Insoluble Sulfur is a new kind of rubber vulcanizating agent, which is not only overcome the shortcomings of ordinary sulfur, but also help to further improve the quality of rubber products.
As an advanced accelerator and vulcanizing agent of the rubber industry, insoluble sulfur is widely used in the manufacturing of the tires and other synthetic rubber products, such as the compound of rubber and skeleton materials, like the tires' carcass compound, belt compound, white side stock and retread tires, tape, hose, also it can be used in the rubber compounds of the rubber goods,like cables, rubber rollers, seals, rubber shoes and so on.
Also it can be applied to light colored rubber products in which common sulfur is incorporated in high proportion. Since insoluble sulfur can make the steel wires and rubber in the radial tires stick more firmly and effectively prevent blooming of rubber, improve heat and abrasion resistence performance. Therefore, insoluble sulfur is the indispensable raw material in tire production .

Product Features
1. High content, high dispersion and high thermal stability, the content of insoluble sulfur can achieve 74%, the thermal stability in 120ºC high temperature can achieve 48% . The performance is stable, it can replac the same type products of FLEXSYS.
2. No blooming during the storage of rubber, keeping the performance of rubber composition to avoid bad adhesion to rubber due to the bloom. Pollution between rubber and mould is thus prevented.
3. No migration in adjacent layers of rubber, it can keep the viscosity of the surface of the rubber.
4. To reduce scorching in mixing and storage.
5. The reduction of sulfur by shortening vulcanizing time will be benefit for the improvement of aging property of rubber products.
